MPMS NEWS
MPMS NEWS is the morning school announcements broadcast live throughout the building via CCTV. The latest school events and sports results are scripted at 7:15 AM for air time at 8:05. The news is a two camera, two anchor production. A taped introduction of the pledge of allegiance and a meditation period is edited and produced by the 8th grade students in Communication Technology. These videos are aired for one week showings. The show ends with credits overlayed on a taped closing of the week's crew. Currently, crews are formed from students attending rehearsals on Tuesdays after school. To get placed on a crew, students should sign-up and attend a rehearsal. Sign-up sheets are in room C-112 (Tech Ed) "first come, first served".
